Scope of this notice

This notice applies to personal data that we receive when you:

  • visit this website;
  • contact us by email, telephone or messaging service;
  • discuss, request or receive information about our services; or
  • enter into, administer or participate in a professional engagement with us.

A customer engagement may include additional contractual privacy, confidentiality, security or data-processing terms. Those agreed terms will apply to the engagement alongside this notice.

Personal data we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may receive:

  • your name, job title, organisation and business contact details;
  • the contents of your enquiry, messages, attachments and meeting notes;
  • information needed to evaluate, prepare, administer or deliver an engagement;
  • billing, payment and business-administration information; and
  • technical information processed by our hosting and security providers, such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps and security logs.

The public website does not currently offer user accounts, online payments or a public contact form, and we do not currently use advertising cookies or Google Analytics.

Please do not send confidential, sensitive, regulated or third-party personal data through an initial enquiry unless it is reasonably necessary and you are authorised to provide it.

Purposes for collection, use and disclosure

We may collect, use or disclose personal data where reasonably appropriate to:

  • respond to enquiries and arrange discussions;
  • identify and communicate with business contacts;
  • assess a proposed engagement, conflict, risk or delivery requirement;
  • prepare proposals, contracts, project records and invoices;
  • perform and administer an agreed engagement;
  • manage suppliers and professional advisers;
  • maintain security, prevent misuse and investigate incidents;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, accounting and record-keeping requirements; or
  • establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Where consent is the applicable basis for processing, you may withdraw it with reasonable notice by contacting us. Withdrawal will not affect processing already carried out and may limit our ability to continue the relevant communication or service.

Service providers, disclosure and overseas processing

We may use service providers for website hosting, domain and email services, messaging, cloud storage, document collaboration, security, accounting or professional advice. These providers may process information in Singapore or other countries under their own infrastructure and contractual terms.

We may also disclose information:

  • to a customer, subcontractor or adviser where reasonably required for an agreed engagement and subject to appropriate obligations;
  • where required or authorised by law, court order or a competent authority; or
  • where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security or the integrity of our services.

Where the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 requires it, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that an overseas transfer receives a standard of protection comparable to that required under the Act.

Retention

We retain personal data only while it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, an ongoing or prospective business relationship, legal or contractual obligations, dispute management, or legitimate business records. Data that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymised or otherwise disposed of appropriately where practicable.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our operations. However, no website, internet transmission, messaging platform or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for choosing an appropriate communication channel and for avoiding unnecessary confidential information in an initial enquiry.

Access, correction and complaints

Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, you may contact us to:

  • request access to personal data held about you and information about its use or disclosure;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • withdraw consent where applicable; or
  • raise a question or complaint about our handling of personal data.

We may need to verify your identity and clarify the scope of a request. Any fee permitted by law will be notified before it is incurred.

Data incidents

If a data incident occurs, we will assess and manage it in accordance with applicable obligations, including notification to affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission where required.

This website may link to or launch services operated by third parties, including email and messaging providers. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our website, services, providers or applicable requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.
